The Trio
At the end of 2022, Marielou Jacquard (voice), Anastasie Lefebvre de Rieux (flutes) and Constance Luzzati (harp) recorded Grace Williams' Songs of Sleep for the online music platform La Boîte à Pépites. Following this strong musical encounter, they founded in 2023 the Trio Haydée, building a repertoire carefully chosen for their rare formation, focusing as much on published and unpublished works of the past centuries as on the most recent creations.
They share an attraction to the poetic aura of texts and the sensitive power of sound worlds, as well as a commitment to the choice of repertoire and its interpretation. Their aim is to gain a thorough understanding of how texts are set to music, so as to get to the heart of the emotions evoked by the works to which they are fully committed.
Winners of the Académie de Villecroze, they have performed at numerous festivals and venues in France and abroad including the Festival Un temps pour elles, Festival Présences Compositrices, the Atelier lyrique de Tourcoing, the Musée d'Orsay, Philharmonie de Paris, Voces8 centre in London.
Haydée
The name Haydée was quickly chosen for this non-standard ensemble, in homage to one of the female characters in Alexandre Dumas' Comte de Monte-Cristo. She plays a polymorphous character whose complexity and depth are revealed as the text progresses. Her exotic beauty gradually reveals a courage and strength of life that make her an inspiring female figure for the Trio Haydée, combining a demand for truth in interpretation with a voluptuous sound.
Marielou Jacquard
Mezzo-soprano
Marielou Jacquard cultivates her taste for eclecticism through the diversity of her repertoire, from baroque to contemporary music. She began her vocal training very young at the Maîtrise de Radio France, then at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, and attended numerous masterclasses at the Fondation Royaumont. She is a laureate of the Academies of Aix en Provence, Villecroze and Orsay / Royaumont. She works regularly with Vincent Dumestre's Poème Harmonique, Sébastien Daucé's Correspondances and Raphael Pichon's Pygmalion ensemble. On stage, she has recently appeared in Duron's Coronis, Delibes's Lakmé at the Opéra Comique, Le Couronnement de Poppée at the Opera du Rhin, and is currently playing Despina in Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte, a joyous and delirious production by Eric Perez on tour in France. Musical theater plays an important role in her artistic career, and she has created numerous shows combining music and pure theater. She also played in Samuel Achache's show Sans Tambour. She has given numerous chamber music concerts and recitals, and is behind a number of new works. She recently recorded Brahms's La Belle Maguelone for B Records, alongside Roger Germser, Alain Planes and Stéphane Degout.
